Studying Hospitality and Gaming Management (HGM)

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), University of Macau (UM) now offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Gaming and Hospitality Management, a dynamic program that covers the studies of both gaming and hospitality, the first of this kind in Macao. To offer quality University training in this particular area, our curriculum has been designed especially for those who would like to strive for professional development with an ambition to excel at the managerial level.

Well-rounded Study Stream

Unlike any other vocational or polytechnic programs offered in Macau, the Gaming and Hospitality program in UM not only provides you the basic knowledge that is essential to work in the industry, more importantly, the program is also dedicated to train the students to be the future leader of the industry with critical thinking and managerial skills. We distinguished ourselves by providing students a well–rounded study scheme in this field.

Two-Stream Study Plan

On top of all that, to cope with the demand for versatile talents in an industry that is ever changing – namely – integrated resorts that come with casinos, hotel, conventions and entertainment all combined, the UM-FBA program offers students to choose enroll in either the Convention and Hospitality Management Stream or Gaming Management Stream from Year 3 onwards, so that they can have a better focus learning how to think strategically, communicate effectively and adapt to different cultures.
