Objective & Targets

To help students who are in financial difficulties to settle the tuition by installments.

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the tuition installment:

1. in financial difficulties, and

2. whose average monthly per capita household income is lower than the amount as stipulated in Article 3.2.1 of the Application Eligibility of the Guideline for Study Loan Application of Education and Youth Affairs Department.

Note
:

For students who failed to meet the criteria mentioned above, application may still be accepted if sufficient and valid ground can be provided.



Application Period (for students who begin or resume their studies in or after academic year 2014/2015):

- Within 4 working days after the Add/Drop Period of the semester
(Please refer to the website of Registry for the add/drop period)

*For students listed below, please send your request to sao.aid@umac.mo on the day you receive the tuition debit note for consideration.

- new admitted undergraduate students in 1st semester
- students who receive tuition debit note in 3rd semester
- students who begin or resume their studies before academic year 2014/2015


Note:

a. Applicants should submit all necessary information within the said periods.

b. Any incomplete submission will delay the approval process which may result to a late payment penalty.

c. Please refer to the Registry/Graduate School/Faculty for the information about the Add/Drop period.

d. Late application without justified reasons will not be considered.

e. For students who begin or resume their studies BEFORE academic year 2014/2015, please send your request with the necessary documents to sao.aid@umac.mo for application.

Application Procedures

1. Students should complete the online application form mentioned above and upload the below documents within the said periods:

  • Salary proofs issued by the employers of those family members who are engaged in paid jobs (including the applicant)(If the member unemployed, please fill in the “Declaration of No Income” (For undergraduate and master students only)
  • Declaration of average monthly per capita household income”(For undergraduate and master students only)
  • ID card or passport copy of the applicant
  • ID card or passport copies of all family members living with the applicant

2. Upon approval, the result will be sent to applicants' student mailbox.

Upon approval, the 1st installment will be paid on the original tuition payment date and the remaining amount will be paid according to the designated schedule.

Application Period

Deadline for PGH residence fee installment application is 5 working days before the payment deadline, the application link will be available on the first day of the payment period. Kindly refer to the website of Finance Office for the payment period of fees.

Online application: Available during the aforementioned period

2. Upon approval, successful applicant will be notified of the payment schedule.
