UM to be closed on Monday due to Typhoon Mangkhut

In accordance with the announcement of the Tertiary Education Services Office, all classes at the University of Macau will be cancelled on Monday (17 September) to ensure the safety of the students during Typhoon Mangkhut. As approved by the chief executive of the Macao SAR, UM faculty and staff are exempt from work tomorrow for safety considerations.

UM has taken emergency measures against the typhoon to ensure the safety of all UM members and the smooth operation of the campus.
