Latest issue of Journal of Macau Studies focuses on development of Greater Bay Area

The 88th issue of the Journal of Macau Studies (JMS), edited by the University of Macau (UM) Centre for Macau Studies, has been published via the Macao Foundation. This issue focuses on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as research studies on various topics, including the development of underground facilities in Macao, the relationship between the Zhang clan from Xiangshan and Macao, a written record about Macao dating back to the 19th century, and a book on Chinese merchants and the Chinese society in Macao during the late Qing dynasty. In addition, JMS has been conducting the peer review process since 2016. All the submitted papers will be evaluated by the experts in the same fields before being published.
