Deputy director general of Liaison Office of Central People’s Government in Macao SAR visits UM

Xue Xiaofeng, deputy director general of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR, today visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM University Council Chair Lam Kam Seng, Rector Wei Zhao, and Vice Rectors Lionel Ni and Kou Mei. During the visit, Lam thanked the Liaison Office for its continuous support to UM. Rector Zhao told the guests about UM’s latest developments, academic structure, ‘4-in-1’ model of education, and residential college system. Xue praised UM for its education policies, state key laboratories, state-of-the-art campus, and high degree of internationalisation. Xue also visited the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, the UM Wu Yee Sun Library, and Cheng Yu Tung College.
