Approximately 350 University of Macau (UM) staff and students yesterday (29 May) did various kinds of exercises on the campus to show support for the World Challenge Day. Among them, 200 staff and students dressed in white T-shirts did a 15-minute group aerobic exercise on the platform of Tai Fung Building.

UM has been an active participant of the World Challenge Day activity for many years, in an attempt to encourage staff and students to be more physically active and to foster the good habit of exercising on a regular basis. This year, UM went a step further by establishing the Office of Sports Affairs to be responsible for organising various kinds of popular sports events and interest classes, in order to discover sports talent and to foster a sports culture on campus.
