     Wong Hang Cheong beats many

      strong Asian athletes and wins

                    the gold medal

At the eleventh Asian Indoor Cycling Championship held in Hong Kong, Wong Hang Cheong, a PhD student of the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau (UM), and technician from UM’s Automotive Engineering Laboratory, won the gold medal in the artistic cycling (men’s individual) category, with a record-breaking score of 150.66, as well as a bronze medal in the artistic cycling (men’s double) category, with his partner Antonio Jose Lou. Previously Wong won a gold medal and a bronze medal at the East Asian Games 2009 and the UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships 2010, respectively, both with Asian-records-breaking scores.
