How to get to Macau

ARRIVING AT MACAU AIRPORT

You may choose to arrive directly at Macau International Airport which has several destinations in the region on direct flights or catch connecting flights to different ports of Asia, Europe or America. For detailed information on flight schedules, please visit https://www.macau-airport.com

ARRIVING AT HK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

If you arrive at HK Airport, you may use the "Cross Boundary Passenger Ferry Terminal" which provides ferry service linking Hong Kong International Airport to Macau. Here you may transit into Macau without going through HK Customs and Immigration formalities or the hassle of carrying your luggage. The trip to Macau Route is approximately 60 minutes.

Please note that if your arrival at HK Airport is not compatible with HKIA-Macau ferry schedule, you may use the following public transportation from Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok International Airport to Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal (Shun Tak Centre):

(A) Public Bus No. A11

You should get off at the fourth stop after departing from the airport. Press the bell when "Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal" is announced.

Shift Interval: Every 20-25 minutes
Journey Time: 60 minutes
Operating Hours: 06:10AM - 00:30AM

(B) Airport Express

First, take the Airport Express to the Hong Kong Station.
Fare: HK$100 (Single Trip)
Shift Interval: Every 10 minutes (From 05:54 to 23:23); Every 12 minutes (From 23:28 to 00:48)

Journey Time: 24 minutes
Operating Hours: 5:54AM – 12:48AM

Then transit to Central Station which is around 3-minute walking distance inside the MTR station.


Fare: HK$5
Journey Time: 5 minutes

(C) Taxi

Fare: HK$350-400
Journey Time: 25-30 minutes

In Shun Tak Center the HK-Macau ferries operate almost 24 hours/day. The ticket prices range from HK$160 in Economy class on weekdays day service to HK$196 Economy class for night-time service. Economy class passenger is allowed to carry on board, free of charge, one piece of luggage not exceeding 20 kg in weight. Please note that the sum of length, width and height of the luggage may not exceed 158 cm (62 inches). Entry Formalities

All visitors to Macau must hold a passport valid for at least 1 month (or more, depending on the visitor’s nationality) after arrival date, and a valid travel document.
