A. Campus Loop Service

In view that our campus covers a total area of 1 km² and it is consisted of more than 60 buildings, Security and Transport Section provides campus loop service to our staff, students and guests so that you can make use of this service to travel between different buildings on campus.

NewStarting from 1 November 2017 (Wednesday), the campus loop shuttle bus service is run by a larger public bus from Mondays to Fridays, with the carrying capacity increased to 70 passengers (including standees) per run. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the campus loop shuttle bus service will remain running by a public mini bus that carries about 34 passengers (including standees). Besides, the service hours and peak hours will be slightly adjusted, please refer to the table below for the details:

Only UM students, staff, SQ residents and RC residents are eligible for this service;
UM campus cards must be presented for identification purpose;
This service runs on "first come, first served" basis;
Standing is allowed on bus;
No smoking, drinking or eating is allowed;
Please vacate the priority seat for the pregnant, injured, elderly and disabled person;
Please queue for campus loop shuttle bus;
Please press the bell to signal the driver before get off the bus;
Please bring along your personal belongings when get off the bus.


Arrangement under typhoon conditions:

1. 1 hour before the typhoon signal No.8 or higher is hoisted, campus loop service will be suspended.

2.When typhoon signal No. 8 is lowered, campus loop service will be resumed to normal within 1.5 hours; if service duration is less than 2 hours, campus loop service will be suspended that day.

In the meantime, there are four public bus routes connecting to campus, which are 71, 72 (previously numbered as 37U), 73 (previously numbered as MT3U) and N6 (overnight bus). For details of those bus routes, please refer to the website of DSAT:
