2. Eligible Students
Student Dormitory mainly provides accommodations to non-local students. Students may apply for student dormitory during the academic year by filling out the Application Form for Dormitory Accommodation.
Application Procedure:

After filling in the application form, please send it to the Student Affairs Section by hand-in, mail, email or fax. For accommodation priority, please refer to Student Dormitory Rules.
* Only E-form will be accepted during the mass application period for dormitory of next academic year.

3. Facilities (commencing from 2009/2010 academic year)
There are a total of 1,927 accommodations in Block 3, East Asia Hall (on-campus dormitory) Pak Lok Garden , Orchid Tower and Hoi Wan Garden (off-campus dormitory). Student Affairs Section manages the Student Dormitory and the Functional Head of Student Dormitory Service is in charge of its daily operations. All rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned. Dormitory students are entitled to the use of communal facilities, including the TV rooms, study rooms and laundry on campus. The University has a gymnasium and students may use the facilities there by making pre-bookings.

6. Student Dormitory Rules (Revised Effective Date: April 3, 2008)

• Dormitory Fees
  Dormitory fees are calculated on semester basis. Both charges do not include the meals.  For details about the commencement of each academic year, please refer to the Registry’s website: http://www.umac.mo/reg

Air-conditioning Charges	Block 3 , Pak Lok Garden, Hoi Wan Garden & Orchid Tower: Calculate on monthly basis and base on the consumption of each student. East Asia Hall: Use the A/C smart meter system.	--
Medical Insurance Premium	All non-local students are required to purchase medical insurance as arranged by the University. Payment Method: 1. New students: The insurance premium and caution fee will be presented on debit note as an independent item after registration and check-in dormitory. 2. Old students: Students are required to pay the insurance premium together with tuition fee.	@$120pax (per academic year)
Fees for early check-in or delayed check-out	May apply for check-in earlier than the appointed check-in date when academic year commences or delayed check-out later than the appointed check-out date when academic year ends. (period other than the University appointed dates). Students living in Off-Campus Dormitory should pay for the entire summer (Students living in Off-Campus Dormitory at anytime during summer holiday need to pay for the entire summer stay dormitory fee).	$35 per night (Exclude Off-Campus Dormitory)
Garbage Removal Fee	When checking-out, student is required to remove all the personal belongings and garbage, otherwise, the fee will be levied.	@$350pax
Cleaning Fee	When checking-out, student is required to restore the room/apartments as its original condition, otherwise, the fee will be levied.	$400 per room $800 per apartment
Luggage Storage Fees for summer recess (inclusive of luggage insurance fee)	Only applicable to dormitory students who have applied in next academic year. a. Storage on luggage rack (Each space 99cm x 40cm x 51cm) b. Storage in carton (Size 50cm x 50cm x 50cm)	$20 per storage space $40 per carton
Replacement of key card	Dormitory students lost the key card or key card is broken	$20 per card
