If you or someone you know is in the middle of a suicide attempt, such as by taking pills, cutting oneself or jumping off a building, call 999 immediately.

Psychological emergencies are situations in which someone is in danger of hurting him/herself or others; or when someone is experiencing extreme distress, which, for example, may be caused by traumatic events, such as sexual assault or the death of a loved one. If you are experiencing extreme distress or afraid you are about to hurt yourself or others, or someone you know is actively suicidal or homicidal or extremely distressed, call for help immediately.

During office hours:

Contact our counsellors. Be sure you mention that emergency attention is needed.
