12 members of the University of Macau (UM) Fencing Team won a total of one gold medal, one silver medal, and two bronze medals in men’s and women’s youth group categories at Guangzhou Fencing Open 2017. Hou Ka U also won a silver medal in the women’s youth individual category. This year’s event attracted 1,150 contestants from Guangdong province, Hong Kong, and Macao.
