In order to meet the needs of the community and to cultivate different kinds of professionals for Macao, this year, the University of Macau (UM) has launched “Preferential Admission Scheme” for Admission Exanimation candidates.The scheme is divided into three categories, e.g. academic awards, sports awards and Musicianship. Applicant who wins any of the awards mentioned above during his/her last three years in high school may apply for participation in this scheme. After careful verification and assessment by UM, the applicant may receive a bonus marks of 5 to l5 in addition to the results of Admission Examination subjects required for the applied programmes.
