Prof. Tu Weiming, Vice President of the International Confucian Association, Director of the Federation of International Philosophical Societies, and Dean of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities at Peking University, will give a lecture “Dialogue of Civilizations and Confucianism in the 21st Century” at HG03 Lecture Theatre, Ho Yin Convention Centre, UM, from 10:00 to 12:00 on 2 December 2009 (Wednesday). This will be the first time for Prof. Tu to give a lecture at UM in the capacity as a Doctor of Humanities honoris causa, an honour previously conferred on him by UM.
