An international forum on practical Chinese writing was recently held at the University of Macau (UM). The three-day event was co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) Department of Chinese Language and Literature, an international association for practical Chinese writing, and an association of writers in Macao, with assistance from the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Tertiary Education Services Office, and Lui Chi Woo College. The forum and the UM Library also co-organised an exhibition of books on the subject, which will last until 30 August.
