UM holds conference on planning and development of Macao’s underground facilities

A conference on the development of Macao’s underground facilities was held today (2 February) at the University of Macau (UM) Wu Yee Sun Library. The event was co-organised by UM’s Centre for Macau Studies and Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM), with assistance from the Macau Institute of Engineers. The conference attracted experts, scholars, planners, and engineers from Qingdao, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Zhuhai, Taiwan, and Macao. During the conference, participants had in-depth discussions on topics related to pipe drainage, underground space planning, geotechnical engineering, and sewage disposal.
