A delegation led by Huang Jianfa, head of the Organisation Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Sichuan Provincial Committee, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by UM University Council Chair Lam Kam Seng, Vice Rector (Administration) Kou Mei, and Interim Director of the Global Affairs Office Wong Kei. During the visit, Lam told the guests about UM’s development, the master plan of the new campus, and the ‘4-in-1’ model of education. Huang praised UM for its campus environment and achievements in scientific research. He expressed hope that Sichuan and Macao will increase collaboration in Chinese medical sciences. Members of the delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the UM Wu Yee Sun Library.
