UM postgraduates visit Shenzhen to learn about its development of innovation and entrepreneurship

The University of Macau (UM) recently organised a trip to Shenzhen for 30 postgraduates to learn more about the city’s development of innovation and entrepreneurship. The delegation was led by Samson Cheong, head of the Student Resources Section and special assistant to vice rector (academic affairs); and Elvo Sou, head of the Student Counselling Section. During the trip, the students visited Shenzhen Bay Inno Park, as well as the headquarters of Tencent Holdings, Da-Jiang Innovations Science and Technology, and Huawei Technologies. Members of the delegation also participated in a seminar held at the Southern University of Science and Technology.
