Macao student led by UM professor wins bronze at International Physics Olympiad

A team of students from local secondary schools, led by Chan Iat Neng, an assistant professor from the University of Macau (UM) Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, recently participated in the 18th Asian Physics Olympiad in Russia, the 48th International Physics Olympiad in Indonesia, and the 30th International Young Physicists’ Tournament in Singapore. A student from Pui Ching Middle School won a bronze medal at the International Physics Olympiad.
