The University of Macau (UM) Fencing Team won two gold medals, two silver medals, and seven bronze medals at the 2016-2017 Macau University Fencing Championship. The team swept all prizes in men’s foil category. The event attracted fencing teams from UM, the City University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, Macao Polytechnic Institute, and the Institute for Tourism Studies. The competition was organised by Macau Universitarian Sports Association, with assistance from the Fencing Association of Macao.
