University of Macau’s (UM) graduating students, their family members and friends attended the university’s Congregation 2014 last Saturday.

One of them is Tan Ling, from the Faculty of Social Sciences. Tan was a participant in the Spring–Psychological Health Ambassador Programme and the UM Reporter Programme. “I have learned a lot, made good friends, and found my passion at UM,” she said. “I have met many wonderful people here who have become my life mentors. They always encourage me to be the best I can be.” 

Faculty of Business Administration graduate Lv Qinghong was a participant in the Pilot Residential College Programme. “The best thing about living on campus is that it helps you to adapt to college life faster and makes it easier for you to make new friends,” Lv said.

Lao Si Kei from the Faculty of Social Sciences is among the first to join the Campus Training Programme. “The various activities under the programme helped me become more confident and more skilled,” said Lao. 

Faculty of Arts and Humanities student Guan Ziyu has represented UM at many English speech contests and achieved outstanding results. “UM has provided a platform for me to grow, to see a bigger world,” she said.
