The 40th Lecture of the University of Macau (UM) Distinguished Lecture Series, entitled “The Uneven Road to Equality”, will be held on Wednesday 2 April. Mr. Chong Chan Yau, president of the Hong Kong Blind Union and director of EL 2100, will be the keynote speaker. He will talk about his fight for equality in his personal life and in society as well as share his life values and experiences in overcoming difficulties.
The lecture will take place in Room HG02, Ho Yin Convention Centre, UM. It will begin at 2:15pm and be conducted in Cantonese, with simultaneous interpretation into English. All are welcome. For seat reservation or enquiries, please call 83974918 or email to scd.DLS@um.edu.mo .
