Zhou Jizhe, a fourth-year student from the Department of Computer and Information Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau (UM), recently won a bronze medal at the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region University Students Computer Projects Competition 2013, with his project, “Real-time Fluid Simulation and Rendering”. In addition to the bronze medal, Zhou was also approached on the spot by a representative from a well-known computer game company, who was impressed by Zhou’s project and expressed the interest to pursue future collaboration with him. The competition attracted 26 teams from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China.
