Chow Wingsee, a second-year student of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau (UM), won the second prize in the University Category at the fourth Beidou Cup China Adolescents Science and Technology Invention Contest, with her entry “A Novel Design on the Integrated UWB Filter Antenna and Its Applications in Macao”. Chow’s entry, which received guidance from Prof. Tam Kam Weng and Dr. Hou Fen, stood out from more than 800 entries from around the world. The contest was organised by the China Satellite Navigation Conference. Chow will soon go to Wuhan, Hubei province, China, to attend the award ceremony.
