Song Yan, a PhD student of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences, University of Macau (UM), received the Best Paper Award at the Third National Research Paper Contest for Public-Private Partnership held in Shanghai, for her paper entitled “Development of Public-Private Partnerships in Macau Healthcare System and Its Implication for Hospital Reform in Mainland China”. The award ceremony was attended by numerous well-known scholars, experts and winners of the competition. Song Yan’s supervisor is Prof Bian Ying. This year’s contest attracted 69 papers from 36 institutions, including Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Tongji University, Nankai University, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
