The University of Macau’s (UM) Ceremony for Conferment of Honorary Degrees and Higher Degrees 2012 will take place at UM’s Cultural Centre on Friday 16 November. The event will begin at 16:00. Chief Executive of Macao SAR and UM Chancellor Dr. Chui Sai On will preside over the ceremony.
PhD and master’s graduates are required to collect the seat cards and admission tickets for family members and friends at the registration desks on the ceremony day between 14:00 and 14:45. Each graduate is entitled to up to three admission tickets for family members and friends. All attendees are required to be seated by 15:00. Latecomers will be denied seat cards and admission tickets.
Due to parking space limitations in and around the UM campus, public transportation is recommended. Those who have confirmed the need for renting the graduation gown are required to complete relevant rental formalities on the day of the ceremony and return the gown by 18:30 on the same day.
