The Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs (HSEO) is mainly responsible for helping in the establishment and implementation of health, safety and environmental protection policies and guidelines for ensuring full compliance with local health, safety and environmental laws; to monitor and ensure work processes and procedures are being carried out in compliance with policies and guidelines; to report and give advice on non-conformities and to assist in implementation of health, safety and environmental improvement as well as to organize training and promotional activities for enhancing health, safety and environmental protection awareness.
HSEO has three major functions as follows:
- Health and Hygiene Affairs
- Laboratory Affairs & Occupational Hygiene
- Campus Safety and Environmental Affairs
