Types of Grant & Selection Criteria

Applicants can only apply for ONE of the following types:

Type 1 – Financial Hardship

Type 2 – Academic Standing

Type 3 – Special Exchange Countries/Programmes on Promotion

 

Type 1 - Financial Hardship

The funding criteria are mainly based on the financial needs of the applicants. This Grant is only for permanent Macao residents.  Minimum cumulative GPA required for TYPE 1 is 2.50.

 

Type 2 - Academic Standing

The funding criteria are mainly based on the cumulative GPA, prize, honours or scholarly awards and activities. This Grant is open for all applicants of undergraduate exchange programmes in the University.  Minimum cumulative GPA required for TYPE 2 is 2.70.

 

Type 3 - Special Exchange Countries / Programme on Promotion

Selected exchange countries / programmes on special promotion are listed on the Application Form. This Grant is open for all applicants of undergraduate exchange programmes in the University.  Minimum cumulative GPA required for TYPE 3 is 2.50.
