Application Procedures

We only accept nominations from the International Office of our exchange partners. Individual applications will not be accepted.  Students interested in applying for exchange to UM should approach your Office of International Affairs for more information. Your International Office will email the list of nominated exchange students together with the e-copy of the whole set of required documents of each nominee to the Global Affairs Office. 

The nomination documents are as follows:
1. Academic Transcript in English which shows the accumulated CPA of the nominees;
2. Programmes & Year of Study the nominees are applying
3. Course Selection Form
4. CV
5. Personal Statement 
6. Recommendation Letter from home university
7. The research project for Postgraduate Students if they would like to take research-based programmes in UM

BEFORE ARRIVAL

An online application link will be sent to each exchange student. Please prepare the following to be uploaded.

1. Testimonal (Letter of selection issued by home university with exchange period)
2. Copy of ID Card & 港澳通行証 (For Mainland Exchange Students Only)
3. Copy of Passport
4. Transcripts (academic report/ course grades issued by home university)
5. Copy of Medical Insurance (covers the period of stay in Macau)

UPON ARRIVAL
1. Original Medical Examination Form
2. English Report/ Film of the X-Ray Test on Lungs
3. Copy of Tetanus Vaccination Record
4. 6 Coloured Passport-sized Photos (with white background)
