Cost and Financial Aid

You will pay the regular UM tuition fee when going on exchange for a semester or a year. Tuition fees at the host university will be waived for UM full-time undergraduate students who participate in an approved exchange programme.

Fees required for a typical exchange programme would include the following:

  • UM tuition
  • Accommodation
  • Health and Travel Insurance
  • Meal
  • Student Visa
  • Airfare
  • Other mandatory fees and charges imposed by Host University

 

Other costs which will incur during your exchange period include:

  • Books and stationery
  • Personal expenses
  • Cultural activities
  • Transportation (domestic)
  • Warm clothing for some exchange destinations
