Vision:

The Faculty of Education strives to become a leading center for teacher education and educational research in China, Asia and even the world, by continuously improving teaching and research quality and emphasizing academic excellence and international standards.

Missions:

1. To contribute to the education enterprise in Macao and that of Greater China Region by training high-quality teachers;
2. To promote educational research in Macao, in Greater China Region and in the world, and to enhance the local and international education research quality;
3. To strengthen the cooperation with local and international education institutions for promoting education development in Macao and the Greater China Region; and
4. To establish close ties with local and international education institutions to promote academic exchanges.

Aims and Objectives:

The Faculty of Education aims to educate and prepare teachers at the pre-primary, primary and secondary levels who can meet the challenges in the 21st century. More specifically, the Faculty of Education aims to train future teachers who have:

1. A solid foundation in education profession;
2. A rich knowledge base in their respective content areas;
3. Great enthusiasm for and dedication to education;
4. A great interest in education research; and
5. A good command of information technology in education.
