Test of English for International Communication™ (TOEIC®)
The English Language Centre, is commissioned by Smart Education (ETS TOEIC Representative in Hong Kong and Macao) to serve as a test venue for the TOEIC test in Macao. All registration and other administrative queries are handled by Smart Education, which handles all test registration and payment matters.
Note: Candidates will not receive any notification by phone or by email from our Centre.

Test |
Test-takers will receive a TOEIC Certificate and a Score Report that have detailed explanation of abilities measured and percentage answered correctly in each skill area. TOEIC Scores are widely accepted by corporations, English-language programs and government agencies around the world. |

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
When registering for the test, you must use exactly the same name that appears on the primary identification document you will present at the test center. Make sure to provide your entire first name (given name) and entire surname (family name). DO NOT register under a nickname. If the name shown on your primary identification does not match the name used at registration, you will not be permitted to take the test.
Online Registration
- Online registration is available at http://www.TOEIC.com.hk.
- Read the notes and instructions carefully before filling in electronic TOEIC Registration form.
- All information must be in English characters.
- Once you finish entering the information, press the Submit button at the end of the form for correct formatting. Review the information you entered for accuracy.
- If the information is correct, press the Submit button at the end of the form to continue; press the Back button if you want to change the information.
- After the New Application Slip appears on your screen, print it and sign it.
Payment
Smart Education will confirm your registration by post or by email within one week after receiving your registration form and payment. An admission ticket and a receipt will be mailed or emailed to you. You can choose from the following options to settle payment:
- Online - Follow the instructions to complete your MasterCard or VISA credit card information. Then, mail only your signed New Application Slip to Smart Education. All payments must be made in HKD.
- Cheque - Mail your signed New Application Slip together with a HKD cheque and in name of Smart Education (Macau) Company Limited. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
- Cash - Bring your signed New Application Slip and come in person to Smart Education to pay by HKD cash.
Registration by Postal Mail
- The TOEIC® Registration Form is available for download at
www.TOEIC.com.hk. - Complete the form and mail it to Smart Education along with payment by HKD bank cheque or personal cheque in name of Smart Education (Macau) Company Limited. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
- If you cannot download the registration form, please contact Smart Education at (852) 2851 3822 or (853) 6261 6000 for further assistance.
- Smart Education will confirm your registration by post or by email within one week after receiving your registration form and payment. An admission ticket and a receipt will be mailed or emailed to you.
RESCHEDULING YOUR TEST
- If you want to reschedule your test date after registering, you must complete a Test Rescheduling Request Form and mail it to Smart Education in time to ensure that it is received at least 5 working days before the original test date.
- The new schedule date must be within 3 months from the original test date.
- There is a handling charge of HKD50 for each rescheduling request. If a request is not received 5 working days before original test date, it will not be honored and the registration fee will be forfeited.

Remarks:
- The registration and mailing service fees are non-refundable.
- Test score reports are valid for 2 years.
ON THE TEST DAY
- Report to the test centre no later than 9:30 a.m. on the test date.
- You must have an acceptable and valid ID with a signature and photograph (e.g. passport, ID card, drivers license) to be admitted to the test center. Identification requirements are strictly enforced.
- Take 3 or 4 sharpened soft-lead (No. 2 or HB) pencils and a good eraser. Pencils and erasers will not be supplied at the centre. Mechanical pencils and pens are not permitted.
- No test taker will be admitted after test materials have been distributed.
- Books, dictionaries, papers, notes, rulers, calculators, watch alarms, mobile phones, listening devices, recording or photographic equipment, highlighters, or aids of any kind are not allowed in the testing room.
- Paper of any kind is not permitted in the testing room.
- You may not mark or underline words in the test book or make notes in the test book or on the answer sheet.
- You must have the supervisors permission to leave the testing room. Any lost time cannot be made up.
- There is no scheduled break during the TOEIC test. If you must leave the testing room, you are required to give the supervisor your identification document(s) before you leave the room. You will not be permitted to make up the time you lose.
- At the conclusion of the test you will be required to return your test book and answer sheet to the test supervisor.
