Applications from suitably qualified candidates are now invited for the position of professor of economics, tenable from August 2012 subject to budget approval.

Applicants should have a PhD degree with an established record of scholarly research in the field of economic development related to China and the Asia Pacific economies. Preference will be given to those with solid theoretical background and experience on empirical research.? Teaching ability and experience of thesis supervision at postgraduate level are required.? Candidates with less academic achievement may be considered for associate professorship.
