Our research focuses on all mainstream areas of economics, covering economic growth, econometrics, international finance, microeconomics, economic development, labour market and others.  Empirical research on the Asia-Pacific, China and the Macao economy is also our focus.

In the last few years, a particular center of attention has the policy research to the local pubic and private sectors, including study of the macroeconomy for one of the gambling operators in Macao, feasibility study of Macao¡¯s regional economic platform, quality of life and the labour market / unemployment issues for the public sector.

The mode of academic research has been largely on international conferences, various workshops, working papers, and staff journal publication.
