The Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) with all bibliography

reference are available for access, you may search all our

publications by keyword of title or subject etc.


 

Reference Dissemination – SDI Service (Table of Contents Service)

We normally forward table of contents of relevant publications to governmental departments and our faculty

members, and provide loaning services to them should they require our assistance.


 

Reference Service

We are pleased to assist the UM members, as well as public users

in using our Centre’s facilities, such as searching for information of

international organizations through the internet. We are always ready

to answer users' inquiries, to recommend the most appropriate

resources, and to do the best we can in finding a solution for

individual problems in either study or research.

 


 

Loaning Service

It is provided to the UM Community or under special

circumstances such as during weekends or public holidays. For

materials checked out, users simply fill in a form at our Centre or

the Circulation Counter. Users can borrow 3 items up to 3 days

each time and may renew them for 2 times. Please note that we

reserve the right to determine whether or not to loan the reading

materials depending on the material’s availability.

 

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loaning service for both local and regional areas such as

mainland China, Hong Kong and also other foreign countries is

available through the Document Centre.

 

UM Theses Collection

The Document Centre collects the UM doctoral dissertations, master

theses and bachelor reports and their lists may be available at our

Centre, the Circulation Counter, and our UM Theses Collection

website. UM members (permission is requested for public users)

can borrow maximum of three items for three days each time.

 

New Arrivals Display

Regularly, the newly arrived publications are on display

near our entrance.

 

   

Spacious Reading Area

The Document Centre provides

comfortable reading area which

is ideal for quiet studying.
