Facilities

Main Buildings

The University of Macau (UM) overlooks the Pearl River’s estuary, and commands a panoramic view of Macao Peninsula, mainland China, and the South China Sea.

The main classroom buildings include Tai Fung Building, Choi Kai Yau Building, Luso-Chinese Building, K.C. Wong Building, Stanley Ho Building, Silver Jubilee Building, Pearl Jubilee Building, and Research and Development Building. The courtyard hugged by Tai Fung Building and Luso-Chinese Building is an embodiment of elegance and practicality. It is of a typical Chinese style, but is in perfect harmony with the modern, western style of the campus.

The Administrative Building at the entrance of the campus houses administrative units that provide service for students, including the Academic Affairs Office, Registry, Student Affairs Office, Finance Office, Accounts Section, Treasury Section, and Procurement Section. Such a location is convenient for the students and enhances work efficiency.

There are covered walkways or staircases connecting the various buildings.
