The Registrar is responsible for leading the Registry. He also has the following duties:

- Senate: Member & Secretary
- Senate General Affairs Committee: Member & Secretary
- Graduate Studies Committee: Member & Secretary
- Academic Quality Assurance Committee: Member & Secretary
- Generation Education Committee: Member
- Committee on Teaching and Learning Enhancement: Member
- Scholarship Committee: Chairperson
- Honorary Degrees and Titles Committee: Secretary
2. Quality Management
- Performance Pledge Project: Advisor
- Quality Management Committee: Member
- Quality Management Task Force: Member
- Quality and Environmental Management System Steering Committee: Advisor
In addition to the above tasks, the Registrar, with the assistance from the Registry, co-ordinates academic matters of the various academic units.
